From the Grande Chef June 5, 2010
June has arrived, by now Flags for 1st Graders have been presented. Memorial Day has been observed in Honor of Great Americans who, through their sacrifice, have secured our freedoms. Nursing Scholarships have been awarded, and the final plans for the Grande in Hickory are in the works.
The year is almost done, but now comes the real work. Locale program Directerus, have you filled out and mailed in your report on Voiture activities this year? We all know that you have done the programs; now all that is left to be done is the paperwork. Please send them in so the Grande Directeurs can file their reports with Nationle. Remember, Locale Voiture reports get sent to Grande Directeurs.
In advance of the Grande, a big thank you to all our Voyageurs in the Grande du North Carolina for all of your continued support of the 40&8, and the dedicated programs that are so vital to our communities.
